The list of America's ten most wanted fugitives is one of the most famous pages on the internet. Top of the list, of course, is Osama bin Laden. Well, did you know that Munich has a similar webpage? It doesn't list any famous international terrorists though. Wanted by Munich's Polizei, as of July 2004, are three murderers (one of them a woman) and one drug trafficker. Taking a leaf out of German for Beginners' book, today's German word of the day is "Fahndung". It means "manhunt". And whilst you're on the Munich Police website, you might also be interested in their daily incident reports. Not much happens of course. Yesterday there were a couple of traffic accidents and the body of a pensioner was pulled out of the Isar. ...

Well spotted. That's why it says "International Gesuchte" in big letters across the top. All their crimes were committed in Munich though and they might still be here (unlikely).

The guy on the bottom right lives in England. His name is Hari Datta. He has put weight on though.
