If you regularly use Yahoo! Weather to check for the forecast in Munich, you'll be familar with answering the question, "Do you mean Munich, Germany or Munich, North Dakota?". We're all familiar with Munich, Germany, but what about Munich, North Dakota? Well, Munich ND is in Cavalier County, just 30 Km south of the Canadian border. The population in 2002 was exactly 251, and dropping. The town was named, unsurprisingly, by the German immigrants who settled there in the 1880's.
