The München Colmcilles is Munich's Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) sports club. They play Gaelic Football, Hurling, Irish Handball, and Camogie. They are affliated with the community sports centre SV Gartenstadt Trudering e.V. where they have facilities to rival any club in Ireland. The München Colmcilles are a fairly new club and they only achieved official e.V. status in November 2001. In 2004 the football team scored a HUGE success when they were crowned champions of the European Gaelic Football League.
