This is a noble italian restaurant in the noble Bogenhausen, and this first sentence summarizes also the positioning of this restaurant, regarding food, wines and prices.
The ambience is quite simple, anyway well groomed. The staff is “typical-italian” friendly, maybe a little bit intrusive sometime.

The food is fantastic, solid and experimental at the same time: and this applies to the antipasti, to the pasta and to the meat and fish dishes. Everything is refined with self-produced (and quite strong) oil and served with self-produced bread.
If you do not like too much oil on your dishes, tell it, because they add it in each plate also “raw” before serving.

The prices – as said – are naturally aligned with the described above scenario. Nevertheless, they have fair-priced “Mittagsmenus” (but if you order wine, than you will have a mark-up on it).

Anyway, one of the best “posh-italian restaurant” tested so far in Munich

Great food, and really friendly staff. The (Italian) waiter used to live in East London - its great going there and talking about "former life"! I really recommend this place for a nice evening out.
