This is a noble italian restaurant in the noble Bogenhausen, and this first sentence summarizes also the positioning of this restaurant, regarding food, wines and prices.
The ambience is quite simple, anyway well groomed. The staff is typical-italian friendly, maybe a little bit intrusive sometime.
The food is fantastic, solid and experimental at the same time: and this applies to the antipasti, to the pasta and to the meat and fish dishes. Everything is refined with self-produced (and quite strong) oil and served with self-produced bread.
If you do not like too much oil on your dishes, tell it, because they add it in each plate also raw before serving.
The prices as said are naturally aligned with the described above scenario. Nevertheless, they have fair-priced Mittagsmenus (but if you order wine, than you will have a mark-up on it).
Anyway, one of the best posh-italian restaurant tested so far in Munich
