Marrakech - Munich

Apparently the owner goes to great lengths to provide fresh couscous. I think I read a Groovy Munich review which said he personally imports the stuff from France every week. Well, that may be, but I went there and was a little disappointed. Maybe I was expecting too much. It's a nice enough restaurant. But that's all it is. "Nice enough". Nothing special. Food is OK, atmosphere is peaceful, but if you wanna impress a hot date, go somewhere else.

Yes the owner, Murad, honestly does drive to France every week to get the real stuff. He's very friendly and I like the food: I missed so much couscous and tajines before I found this restuarant (not easy to find in Bavaria). Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is peaceful and cosy, as mentioned by Bob. Note that every Saturday the girlfriend of the son of the owner makes a great belly dancing show! That's a good enough reason to return there. ;)
