Maredo Steak - Munich

We have been in several Maredos all over Germany, and we do not like them at all, plus they charge you 3.50 for a tiny plate of French fries. The ribs were disgusting. I wouldn´t recommend it at all.

Agreed! I went to a Maredo in Bonn and was sick as dog for about 3 hours afterwards. I was actually so sick that I had to pay the hotel owner 150Dm to clean the room when I left.

I agree, also. I went to the one near Marienplatz a couple years ago and got a burnt steak and wretched service.

Suprised about the bad comments. We went several times to Maredo at Marienplatz with our child. She loves this place since they have a really good child menu and she also gets a suprise gift and something to draw on. She actually now prefers Maredo before McDonalds which is for her a really good review :-) We also always enjoy the food a lot and the service is sometimes really good for Munich measures and sometimes like it normally is in Munich, unfriendly.

went to Maredo in Stuttgart over the weekend--food was very good and it was outstandingly child-friendly. As already mentioned, they have a nice kid's menu, and furthermore the waiter went out of his way for us (brought me water for the baby, offered to rinse out the bowl I used to make her rice cereal, joked around with my two-year old who was starting to run wild, etc.). Also they gave our whole party a 25% discount as it was within two weeks of my birthday and I had a picture ID with me.

Went twice to Maredo in MUnich near the Frauen Kirche. Clean, NON SMOKING!!!, very good salad bar and tasty food. Prices not bad for the center of the nicest city I know.
