Ludwig - Munich

Nice new café in the Petuelpark. Than over the Petueltunnel (but not loud at all) and surrounded by the big blocks of Milbertshofen. But – it´s right – form the architectural point of view this place it´s stylish, both from outside (big glass facades) and inside (loungy). The food is also basically okay (international with thai-influences) and in summer there is also a real and quite nice beer-garden available. What i´m scared of is that – notwithstanding the good premises and due to the position between Schwabing-Nord and Milbertshofen (not the areas with the best and most chick clientele), the place could easily be forgotten by the in-crowd of the city, and then become a refuge for the people of two above mentioned quarters. But, th Ludwig is ran by the same owners of the Cord – a very well established club downtown, so maybe they will find a way to the succes
