Loggia - Falkenturmstr. 6, 80331 Munich, Germany
Newly opened in October 2003, Loggia is a nice little bar/lounge/club in the center of Munich's old town. The address is Falkenturmstrasse which is one of the narrow streets in the close neighbourhood of Hofbräuhaus, Atomic Café, and Pusser's.
Inside, the club is on two levels. Upstairs is a bar and the "lounge" seating area. Downstairs is a second bar and the dance floor. The whole place is not very big, I'd guess space for around 200 people max. It has a warm cosy feel.
Since opening it has gained a reputation as being a trendy new place to be seen. During the week the atmosphere is pretty chilled. It is fairly well lit, there is low level house music in the background, and they serve Italian food.
Loggia is open Tuesday to Saturday from 12pm - 3am. Tuesday to Friday it is open for "business lunch" from 12-3pm. Friday and Saturday evenings from 11pm to 3am are club nights with live DJ's. These parties are presented by Girls Affair - a gang of 4 young Munich girls or put on various small parties around Munich.
Definitely worth checking out. A welcome addition to this area of the city.
