Lehner's is a new Bavarian themed restaurant in Haidhausen. It was selected as the 1st location for TT Fridays, and they managed the huge crowd rather well. The food was good, the portions very reasonable and the prices are decent.

"Lehner's Wirtshaus" is a chain of Bavarian pubs in various German cities, 2 are in Munich, this one in Haidhausen-Au being the newest. Their grand opening party on April 28 was great fun. They had a good band and a great bunch of locals were in there, the place was completely packed. Otherwise, the place has attentive service, good food (mostly Bavarian) and the beer, though Löwenbräu, tastes fab. This may well become my new local!
Posted by: oli2000 at 1:52 pm on 2.May.2006the place is brand new, therefore a real "Wirtshaus"-atmosphere has yet to be built. nevertheless, they are on the right road. food and beer are more as okay (tried the Flammkuchen - big portioned but quite light - and the Steak with baked potato), smoke and noise will come...
