food is okay. i had a steak (beware, they are HUGE and generally served overdone), but apparently the speciality of the house is "Tam Tam" (a sort of Indonesian way to prepare each kind of meal); the clientele is rather chic, unlike most places in this area nearby the Ostbanhof.

Better get your Google on before heading over there, this one has moved to Schwabing as of late 2007.

have been here quite a few times, food is decent and the portions are simply huge! you can definately share a main dish between two. Nice to sit outside in summer

Been there two weeks ago and must say this place actually has everything what's wrong with restaurants and service in Germany. The food is OK, but nothing special. The waitresses (the usual, most likely student staff) couldn't get the orders right (food and drinks) and two of us ended up with a meal we didn't even order, we did complain, but we just couldn't be bothered to wait another 45min for what we actually ordered. Them girls seemed to be more interested in chatting to some other people at the bar than actually serving people, but while the other tables somehow managed to still get their attention from time to time, ours was completely ignored... maybe because we complained? We decided to not stay any longer and wanted to pay up, but it took unbelievable 15mins till we got our bill (the place wasn't packed or something - 10 tables and three waitresses...), which brought on the next problem: we wanted to pay separately which lead to a bricky style swearing of that petite young lady. As anyone can guess we didn't tip and since we didn't leave the place that very second (the ladies had to pop into the powder room), we were asked to leave the establishment, which we complied to and waited outside for the ladies. Nothing special about this place, not even considering the service and the attitude of the staff. Not going back even if it's down the road.
