Surprised no-one else has previously posted a recommendation as I believe the restaurant has been open 3 years. Situated in a very quiet area of Schwabing with nice modern decor and seating for no more than 25-30 people, small but the tables are nicely spaced so good for a cosy chat / romantic date.
The food is based around a 4 course menu for 38€, mostly fish, and then you have the French Classiques such as Escargot and Cheeses etc. Reasonably priced; the main courses are about 18€ and wine ranging from 22€ per bottle.
Try it out, we loved it and will definitely go back.

Le Cezanne is a fantastic semi bistro style French restaraunt of the highest quality at quite a reasonable price. There menu is quite variable with daily dishes. Each time I have been there (4 times so far) I have not had a bad meal, a bad bottle of wine or even failed to feel totally well served. A definite date or impress the parents place, though smart casual. The Chef is a product of the Raymond Blanc school of cooking having previously worked in a VERY famous establishment in England.
