L'Antipasti Nuovo - Munich

For some reason Go Muenchen lists this restaurant as being at Mailingerstrasse 9, see: L'Antipasti Nuovo. So which is the correct address? Needs to be confirmed. And more importantly, is the restaurant any good?

Sandstr 33 is the correct address for "Nuovo" the original L'Antipasti might be the other address (same owners). And I can recommend it for a good night out. Not the biggest place around, but a very Wine bar feel, smart but informal, friendly, good quality food, especially the Antipasti, not an extensive restaurant menu, but very Italian. Good wine selection, no smoking until everyone has finished eating, then the ash trays are put out. The music and the informal dancing gets going (around the tables), girls be prepared to dance with the owners. Different parties tend to mix in together, which means you get to meet new people very informally. Also forget the published closing time, it closes when the last people leave, which for us was 3:30am last Saturday morning.

This is a great place in a strange location. Go anyway. Wonderful food, good wine and very very Italian, meaning everyone has a great time.

Regarding the two addresses, the place on Mailingerstrasse has only standing tables for eating; it is more like a store and I don't know if it is open for dinner. The owners used to have a good web site, but they appear to have given up their domain name. www.l-antipasto.de/

Wonderful food and wonderful staff... had a 4 course meal and was superb. Nice, relaxed and fun. Location is a little weird (inner courtyard off Sandstr. Wine selection from heaven!
