This is probably one of the best "least known" biergartens in Munich. The Augusteiner bier runs cold & cheap. There is a good selection of shady or sunny places to sit with a spielplatz that seems to keep the children at away. We went there with the intention of only one bier, but with the friendly locals & staff it was impossible to leave.

So you were there yesterday too? This is my local and it's like my second home at this time of year. A mass is running at €5.40 this season.

This place closed down permanently a couple of weeks back to make way for a bypass. I am in mourning.
