Ladislav Niznansky was on trial in Munich last week to answer charges of war crimes committed in 1945. Niznansky (now 86) was the commander of a Nazi unit in Slovakia. In January and February 1945 this unit massacred 164 civilians across three villages. He himself is said to have shot 20. ...
Ladislav Niznansky's unit, 1945 After the war ended Niznansky came to Munich and lived here peacefully for many decades. It's amazing that nearly 60 years since the war there are still cases like this coming to court. Whatever happened to the idea of 'forgive and forget'? While it seems there can never be any forgiveness for such crimes, there is certainly forgetfulness. At the trial last week none of the witnesses could remember what Nazinsky's role in the massacre was. Thus, on Friday he was allowed to walk free. General opinion is that the war itself was to blame for this massacre, as opposed to any one particular individual. For more information (in German) see: » Der Fall Niznansky - sueddeutsche.de |

This article suggests that "Forgive and Forget" is a good idea. This cavalier attitude and sweeping such things under the rug of denial or historical revision is offensive and, simply put, stupid.
"Forgive and Forget"? I prefer "Never again". |

"War Crimes" What are they ?
If you would like to put everybody on trial who has commited "war crimes", 3/4 of the world should be convicted. I believe that nowadays these kind of trials are like a witch hunt. |

The article said:
"amazing that nearly 60 years since the war there are still cases like this coming to court" Yes, of course! The judes still runs the world, and they still try to squees as much as they can out of the "holocaust". Its all about money - again, and the judes show once again why they where haunted down 1940-45: they are a hell of a greedy people! Now even my little country are seeking for "the truth", with governmentpaid commissions who investigates IF there where one or two of my countrymen who MAY have killed a jude during WWII. And everything is pressed on by jewish organisations. Its seems for me that the judes are getting empty of places to suck money from, and now heads for the small who almost did'nt have anything to do with the war at all. |
