Kumasan - Munich

Kumasan - Blutenburgstr. 31, 80636 Munich, Germany

Another running Sushi among the many already existing in Munich. We were impressed by the price €7.50 for all you can eat lunch, disappointed by the small assortment. Only Salmon Nigiri, California Roll, Salmon, Avocado, cucumber Maki. Must admit that the other appetizers offered were quite tasty though : springrolls, fried noodles, stir fried veggies, fried squid on skewer, stripes of chicken breast in almond/sesame coat. Also nice desserts.
They say they offer more for dinner, incl. Sashimi etc. Sunday, Monday dinner is 12.80€, other days 14.90€
Its within walking distance from Cinema, between U Bahn Maillingerstr. and Rotkreuzplatz

It's far far nearer to Maillingerstr. than Rotkreuzplatz - it's just round the corner from the Neuhausen Wassermann.

Agree with Topsy. It's close to Mailingerstr. U-bahn. Went there a few nites ago for the Eat All You Can Buffet Dinner. For 14.90, it's quite fair for the food served. But there was a crowd there. There are quite a lot of varieties. We did have sashimi (salmon and tuna sushi). For appetizer, there were cucumber salad, spring roles, beansprout salad. There are also some fried items, ie. spring rolls, crab sticks, chicken wings. The dessert range is also acceptable, fried banana fritters, lychee, sago coconut pudding.

Went there last night with my boyfriend and was extremely impressed with the All You Can Eat Buffet- for 14.90, they provided an excellent selection of sushi, even some fancy varieties that I am not familiar with. The presentation of the food was also wonderful, serving dishes on clam shells and using flowers/leaves to spice up the look. :) The appetizers were plentiful with crab legs, mussels, shrimp, won tons, sesame chicken and so forth. To top it all off, the service was great and the staff was so friendly. Will definitely be going back, as I have tried several running sushi places in Munich and this is by far the best!
