Ksara - Haimhauserstr. 7, 80802 Munich, Germany
A Lebanese restaurant. They do a good mixed platter for two. It comes with about 28 different little plates of mixed dips and nibbles together with Lebanese bread.

Honey, Libanesische = Lebanese, not Lybian. (Different continents, for one thing!)

Posted by: "Col. Gaddafi" at 2:57 am on 12.Aug.2005Must say I'm furious at some comments I've read about the Ksara. First of all it's lame to confuse Libya with Lebanon. Secondly, the food is good, but some may not have tasted the best because they overlooked what Lebanese food is mainly about: the appetizers. Thirdly, Lebanese food is always expensive. Fourth, the service is great and the owner is Lebanese (if they don't know how to cook Lebanese, who does?). Fifth, how bad can a Lebanese restaurant be if it's frequented mainly by Lebanese or Lebanese-born, such as myself? Sixth, I'm glad it's not always packed, so you can still go there spontaneously. Seventh, that it's small makes it even more special. And I could probably go on and on and on until, finally: IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!
Posted by: "Anushkara" at 12:38 pm on 2.Nov.2005the food in this resturant is pricy and tasteless. I a very dissappointed myself because I love lebanese food and this is far away from anything called lebanese, the owner might be a lebanese but the cook is definatley not lebanese
Posted by: "Tony" at 2:44 pm on 3.Nov.2005have eaten here several times and enjoyed every visit not sure how it compares to other lebanese places but I like it
Posted by: "don" at 4:17 am on 4.Mar.2006Just went for lunch at Ksara - the Lebanese restaurant in Münchner Freiheit Area. Unfortunately they only serve 1 dish, falafel or sandwiches during lunch. For reasonable 6.90? I was able to try rice served with delicious, tender lamb and vegetable, accompanied by small salad and yoghurt-cucumber dip. Very friendly service. For more choices I definetely try to come again for dinner.
Posted by: "stuckinmuc" at 6:18 am on 22.Jun.2006I have been at Ksara today and must say that the staff and the owner was formal but extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. The food was also good and my friends which I brought with me have been surprised by the quality of the appetizers. We also noted the good amount of Arab guests pouring in the later it got. We will come again.
Posted by: "chris alexander" at 12:05 am on 27.Jun.2007Ksara brand red wine is divine! I used to buy it regularly in Ireland... Also, I really like this restaurant and the staff are very nice.
Posted by: "Kimber" at 7:14 pm on 13.Oct.2007I was here last night with friends. Wow! All I can say, super service and great food. We shared a mixed starters- all of it was yummy. The maincourse, the meat was so tender. I even had some of my friends lamb- the best lamb I ever tasted, very tender and flavourful. They even brought a friend some Baklava for her birthday with a sparkler, was very neat. Prices were very reasonable. Will definately go back.
