Konsulat is a café and lounge bar in Munich, located at Klenzestraße 51. They have two rooms with distinct styles and play a variety of music to meet the different tastes of their customers. Starting in February 2006 they will also open as a daily café and offer cakes and small foods from the morning to the evening.

Was here last night. Doors don't usually open before 9pm, so better to arrive late than early. The place itself is cute, comfy lounges etc. Bar needs stocking though and music was just that little bit kitsch... "raindrops keep falling on my head..."

But great atmosphere, not like the normal lounge´s around Fraunhoferstr you can sit and talk and hear :-P. I had a great time and highly recommend it.
