Music is half Russian pop and half international (house, blackbeat, dance). Thursday is ladies night and entry is free to the girls. Open Thursdays to Saturdays, 10pm to 5am.

I like the mix of business men, lesbians, tarted up russian girls, pretty boys, old men, and random others. The music is always changing and fun.

went because i was curious what the hell russian pop was... and learned that i should never follow my curiousity again. old men and girls wayyy too young to be there. the head outside also freaked me out a bit. .

if you want the hook up head to kalinka. ask for damitri. be sure you know how to speak russian tho, or his escorts will show you to the door.

Funny incident at the door. We were one Indian guy, one American girl and one British Turkish guy. After not being allowed in I asked why. The answer I got was hilarious....word for word: Russians want to party with their own people and not people who are either not Russian, German or European. They like to pick fights with people who are not. When I said we were European(2 outta 3) he replied: yes but you don't look it. Lol! All good natured of course but hilarious at the same time.

It really depends what are you looking for, it is Russian club oriented for russian crowd, I noticed few non russian people had lots of fun there... Every club has its entrance control, to prevent trouble and fights.

I have been to Kalinka several times and can honestly say it is a nice change from the usual nightclubs in Munich. Yes it is a "Russian Disco" but that is what makes it exciting. I have never had any problems at the door or with any people in the bar. If you are looking for a good time, good dance music, and a club not full of pretentious BS.. then check it out..

Been to Kalinka many times. Well to enjoy it u have to be Russian. :) Atmosphere nice, ppl are cool.
