Perhaps Beergarden isn't the correct category for Kaisergarten as it's a bit smaller and more up-market than the average beergarden, but woooow the food is just fantastic, one of the nicest meals I've had in Munich in four years!
Food ranged from the standard biergarten fare, schnitzel & fleischpfanzerl etc to daily specials, on Saturday I had the asparagus, butter, baby potatoes & ham, really superb! Even the breakfast menu looked quite extensive, served until 4pm, Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
Service was friendly and the staff spoke English.

Popped here last night, was a lovely atmosphere. They were selling their home-made Strawberry-Sekt at a small bar outside, perfect for a sunny evening. Food was great, big portions too. I had the asparagus which was yummy. My friends had the vealburgers filled with Swiss cheese, accompanied by sage potato salad and cranberry mustard sauce which was very tasty! To finish we had almond and raisin Kaiserschmarrn, a huge portion which we couldn't finish between us. Service was attentive. we'll definitely go back!
