Joy Lounge is an after-work party series. The parties happen Thursdays and on occasional Saturdays at the BMW pavilion near Karlsplatz. Doors open at 6pm and entry is €6 (bring exact change for expediated entry). These parties are incredibly popular and the pavilion is usually full to capacity by 7.30pm (500 people). There are two bars on each of the two floors and various futuristic photo, video, and lighting effects are installed throughout.

The music is described as "Hits aus allen Richtungen" (i.e. completely mixed: modern dance stuff through to eighties classics). Becks beer and soft drinks are both €3 a bottle. Long drinks and cocktails (Absolut vodka only) are €7. The party closes at 2am. Joy Lounge is organised by Juke and Joy. This is the team behind many popular after-work parties in Munich including those in Pacha (Tues & Weds), Lenbach (Weds), and in the Reitschule (Thurs). Note that these parties are not a permanent fixture. They run in "seasons". If you spend all night watching the screens (flashing images of the new BMW 1 Series), yes.
However i recommend spending that time looking at the incredible quality of the women in this place (5 Stars) and it's a 50:50 ratio too. |

"Das ist die perfekte Wellen, das ist die perfekte Tag". No idea what the song is or who it's by but the crowd went completely bonkers every time the record was played last week.
Lookin' forward to it again. Kick off, 73 minutes! |

Was there today...just to check out the scene. I can confirm the quality of women there: 1A. Will definitely come back again to check out the earlier crowd. Guys...dress well...look successful. (Better yet ... be successful)
