Jazzbar Vogler - Rumfordstrasse 17, 80469 Munich, Germany

One of my musical friends is a jazz drummer who plays here quite a lot - they usually have some kind of live jazz thing happening, so be aware that your first drink might seem expensive because they sometimes tag on door entry to your first drink at the bar, which is kind of sneaky.

It's a long thin bar room with a wider space for the act to use as a stage at one end and it's pretty cosy. It looks like a jazz bar, know what I mean? Wooden floors, not too much polish in the presentation, like they have more important things to think about than customer service.

Hep-cats and soul-patched brothers hang out here and make a Helles (that's a beer) last as long as possible. Say ‘bro’ or ‘man’ a lot and you'll fit right in.

It looked like a really cool place, but it costs 7 euros to get in, wich I could'nt see on the internet before I got there.

It's 7 Euros only on Friday and Saturdays...which is more than worth it because you catch great, international Musical Acts/Bands there. It is, afterall, a Jazzclub. Monday is jam session and costs only 3 Euros. Free if you participate. Free entrance from Tuesday to Thursday, usually with a pianist or other live performance.
