Jackie Chan has replaced China Restaurant Peking at this location. The new owners have given the space a much needed facelift. Located on Rosenheimerstrasse just south of the Karl-Preis-Platz u-bahn station, Jackie Chan has a good-sized dining room, but round tables seating up to a dozen have been replaced with more standard tables seating 2-8. We've visited Jackie Chan once so far and found a much smaller menu which was heavy on the duck. The dinner was above average and the service was excellent. We even got to meet Jackie himself. A few more visits are necessary to better judge the overall quality of the menu.

The second visit was as good as the first...actually better. They had asked for some feedback at the end of our first visit and had acted on it. This time we ordered a set dinner for two. The mini-eggroll appetizers were the standard fare. The main course was a mix of three dishes - sweet/sour duck, chicken satay and a beef/veg dish. All were excellent, especially the beef which had very good flavor. The sweet/sour sauce had improved since our first visit. The fried bananas and ice cream made a nice finish to the meal. I won't say that the kitchen blows away any other Chinese restaurant in town, but it is producing good food and the service continues to excel.
