Iwan - Munich

Opening at this location in Spring 2005 will be a new bar called: Peter und Paul

The first time I went into Iwan it was with my German teacher and we arrived quite early on a Thursday evening, at about 7pm.

We sat there laughing and having fun in a fairly empty garden area and only after a couple of hours did we notice just how full the place was with absolutely fabulous, muscled-up men wearing tight designer T-shirts. After a fruitless couple of minutes looking for a few equally stunning women in the crowd, the light dawned - other guides may call this a mixed crowd, I call it a very up-market gay crowd, like Morizz in a garden.

Iwan is a café/bar; I wouldnt bother eating here except perhaps the sub sandwiches they make, which are just about OK.
