Ginger - Café / Bar - Munich

Ginger is a trendy new bar on Augustenstr. in Schwabing, about 100 metres from Theresienstr. U-bahn station. It opened only 3 weeks ago about the same time we arrived here. They specialise in a wide range of cocktails and have a great Asain fusion menu. We have enjoyed everything we have sampled there, the bar staff are great and the prices are reaonable. They have a cool sound system that provides the atmosphere at night with a DJ doing the business on the weekends. The french windows open fully to catch the sun 'til evening. A large flat screen TV has just been installed in time for Euro 2004 and all the other sporting events coming this summer. Definitely worthy of a visit.

I have visited this establishment every day of the week to eat soup and drink beer and would you believe it, I have actually lost weight (and my tie just once but hey, its tie (thai I know..) cuisine so i do not complain!) I ask my colleagues from work to come visit me there every time, regardles of where they are coming from; I stick with you Ginger! I know its harsh but I will be leaving this place shortly and really do not care too much abou those guys. Sticking with you always made sense! What i want to say is the following: Thank you Ginger (in partnership with Augustiner), thank you for those lovely moments we have shared together! Thank you for the soup. after a while it got a bit boring but that happens with nearly everything in life isnt it? I wish you all the best; I will always love you Ginger! Always!
