No one should go there, not without me anyway. Cozy Italian restaurant, ideal during the afternoon for long coffee or tea. I popped in during the weekday afternoon, just for tea. I missed the lunch crowd so the place was fairly empty except for a few regulars. The service was friendly and the lunch menu looked tempting with various soups, pastas, entrees and desserts on the offer. Note though, I hear that dinner can be quite expensive and reservations, especially on weekends, are recommended. Possibly difficult for people with small babies as the bathrooms are 1-stall tiny with very little room to manuever or deal with a baby.

They didn't have any "normal" food for those who are not adventurous (no non-meat dishes). We got the 3 course meal and it was 34 euros, which isn't too expensive, but it's not cheap either. But you couple that with wine and there you have it. I can't say the food was good, mainly because my non-adventurous tastes couldn't stomach the duck, but my husband thought both the fish and the duck were delicious. If you're into the fancy type restaurants, then this place is for you!

Gandl (Maria Gandl) works much better as a cosy (almost romatic) coffee or tea room on a lazy afternoon, though also fun for lunch. Best of all is the Sunday morning breakfast/brunch (book and get there early!). Not too expensive unless you drink fine wines. Food is variable, depending on who is cooking at any time, but the menu is simple and affordable of an evening.
