FujiSan - Nymphenburgerstrasse 3, 80335 Munich, Germany
FujiSan is part of a three-chain restaurant (along with Fuji and Fujikaiten).
Great service, nice interior design. Great value all you can eat (ca EUR 20 p/p) for everything on the conveyor belt ; not just sushi but teriyake, spring rolls, prawn crackers, stir fry, battered prawns and chicken, and best of all, dessert (banana or pineapple and honey, fruit salad or rice in coconut milk). They also have deep-fried sushi!
The Japanese lemonade is a must to try, it comes in a glass bottle with a glass ball used as a stopper inside. They also have the standard on the menu ; tempura, teriyake, yakisoba etc.

Don't use their e-mail address on their website; apparently their system hasn't been set up yet!
Posted by: UrbanAngel at 3:41 pm on 18.Oct.2006Also, they have an evening special offer on the all you can eat - 18.80. I like the waiters here; they're nice and friendly (don't think any of them are Japanese though). One time I left my scarf there (2 yrs ago in winter), and the next time I went back about 4 or 5 mths later, the waiter came up to me and started talking about a scarf. I was really confused until he showed it me - then I remembered I had 'lost' it! Good memory (his, not mine obviously).
Posted by: UrbanAngel at 1:08 pm on 19.Oct.2006Went there today, had the running/all-you-can-eat sushi for 18.80 (Though, oddly enough, we only paid 13.80 each, perhaps because we got a very small table at the end which was a tiny bit cramped with all the plates). The sushi itself was merely average, I'd say about equal in terms of taste and sophistication to what my amateur cooking skills will yield. Also, no Temaki, no miso soup (in the running sushi, I didn't check the menu). What they did have was some nice satee-style sticks, tempura, a delicious lichee soup, dumplings and other nice stuff to chose from, so on the whole it was a very good evening. A final word of warning though: they don't wash the small plates on the conveyor belt every time. I don't know how usual/unusual that is, but getting a plate that visibly has been used for something else before is a bit of a turn-off.
