Feuerberg, a cafe, bar, and restaurant in Untergiesing, is the place to go if you want real American burgers. 250g fresh ground beef served to order. We are famous for our American kitchen North Carolina style (American owned restaurant) but we also serve great international food as well. So if you wanna have a good ol' time just check us out.
By the way: We have Augustiner, Löwenbräu and Guinness beer. We are located in Untergiesing between Kolumbusplatz and Candidplatz. Hope to see you soon!

Has a nice sunny terrace in a quiet street, and the lunch time menu is usually good value and includes a coffee in the price. Food good for a local, and not too smoky inside.

Posted by: "the mongrel" at 9:15 pm on 5.Jan.2006Very good american food at a very reasonable price. Very nice owner. Has an opportunity to eat outside and inside. Inside is very open and modern. Not too smoky
Posted by: "C." at 1:59 am on 5.Oct.2006I met one of the owners last night, Klaus. He used to live in London and is keen to carry on where the nearby "Dub" (previously The Dubliner) left off. Yesterday he signed a contract with Guinness and will be serving the black stuff within the next couple of weeks! Klaus is half English/Austrian, speaks proper English like & is keen to get a good mix of people in the bar. I've never been to this bar but from what this guy was telling me, it sounds like it should definately be worth a visit soon!
Posted by: Jeckel at 11:58 am on 23.Nov.2006Feuerberg is excellent. If you haven't been (recently), you should definitely check it out. I've eaten there three times and everything has been very tasty; my wife and I had a fantastic salad and a killer burger, for example. We'll definitely go back soon: we spoke with the owner (Jeff Wright) last night, who put my taste buds into overdrive with a promise of real-deal but inexpensive steaks and even Carolina BBQ in the near future. And you definitely need to stop in if you like great beer. Their Augustiner Helles tastes particularly good for some reason, plus they have Franziskaner and Guinness on tap, too. And Tuesday is Beer Day: with the exception of Guinness, draft beers cost just two euros for a half-liter! Granted, the place is slightly off the beaten path, but it's simple to get to - and very close to Kolumbusplatz (U1/U2) in Untergiesing. Enjoy!
Posted by: "not_Mormon" at 7:01 pm on 21.Feb.2007This restaurant really impressed me with their hamburger, far, far better than any other than I have found in Munich, really tasted like pure fresh delicious BEEF that you usually cannot find anywhere in Munich... UNFORTUNATELY, the last two times I've been there, the burgers were absolutely terrible!!! Now they taste like spoiled hackfleisch that has been covered up with too much Lowerys seasoning salt. Please tell me if the quality returns to it's original state.
Posted by: Arh at 10:31 pm on 9.Nov.2007I went there for a dinner with my boyfriend - I loved it! Burgers were big, huge actually. I couldn't even finish mine. And came with great fries and a salad. Radlers were only 2 euros each! And for 2 ppl we only paid 22euros! Thats a great deal. I didnt even have space for dessert, cuz i was too full, but they have some kool things - I'm goin again! (and no, i do not work for them :) just so u know
Posted by: sovushka at 6:08 pm on 22.Nov.2007Also can´t complain ...the burgers we had last night were King Kong size !!!!...and the steaks exactly as we ordered....service is getting more professional every time, great wine selection.....shame there´s nothing alike more central .....Walt.
Posted by: "walt" at 6:38 pm on 8.Dec.2007We were also at Feuerberg on Saturday night. We went because I have been craving a good burger since moving to Munich a few months ago. We loved our Burgers! They were fantastic...the homefries were great, too. Our waiter was slow to take our order (he was busy with a big party). When he did come to our table, he apoligized for our wait, and from then on the service was fine. I would recommend this place if you want a great burger!
Posted by: "ks" at 10:43 pm on 14.Jan.2008Went there sunday service good food arrived quickly and was great, restaurant was very warm, asked for cooler to be put on and was done so immeditely. Service very friendly, waitress spoke good english, waitress also kept checking on us for drinks etc couldnt fault it. Staff however did appear to be changed from previous week, perhaps owner has read the comments and sorted it all out.
Posted by: joanna.goldsmith at 2:58 pm on 17.Mar.2008Was there yesterday evening for a couple. Seemed like a very pleasant place. High tables around the bar give good opportunity for mingling. I was approached pretty much as soon as I came in by a waiter asking what I'd like. Very friendly efficient little chap. Augie was good. They also serve the Edelstof. Didn't eat but the food I saw going out looked like good enough bar fayre. Plenty of space outside too but the local scenery is not the best. Would definitely go back to give it a try for a full evening.
Posted by: Keydeck at 9:56 am on 14.Jun.2008Easily one of the best burgers in Munich (the A1 burger). Very good stuff. Haven't tried their "American Breakfast" yet, but it certainly sounds good. Hidden away from the main streets so its not too crazy sitting outside, which is nice. The wait staff could look less pained when serving, but otherwise great place.
Posted by: DJMunich at 9:59 pm on 22.Jul.2009Last night the barbecue was very disapppointing. It was basically pork pieces sauteed up with some barbecue sauce poured on it. The burgers were also well done instead of medium. Nice place though, and I'd certainly try other items on their menu. And they do have Guinness and cider (sometimes Magners, sometimes Strongbow) available.
Posted by: Gen at 1:10 pm on 24.Oct.2009The ribeye steak was great!
Posted by: carollorac at 8:09 pm on 25.Oct.2009dont try the wings.....really bad.....fried chicken with supposedly 'BBQ'sauce on the side...didnt taste like bbq sauce at all.... The fried chkn by itself was not good either....
