Posted by: "Anonymous" at 2:01 pm on 23.Feb.2005Hey, wake up guys! The erste Liga has reopened on Thalkirschnerstr. and is rocking again! The location turned up nice, considering what a dump the previous club was (used to be "The Stud" but you probably never went in there anyway, and for good reasons...) although they have to get rid of this sickly green lighting!!! Otherwise same crowd, same music, same sweaty atmosphere ;-)))
Posted by: "worm" at 2:07 am on 12.Apr.2006Went there for the Ugly Duckling concert and must advice everyone to better not to go there for any kind of concert (don't know about club-nights, might be totally different): crap soundsystem, no stage or anything like it, crowd consisted of Indie-Schickie-Mickie Youngster-Hippsters who just turned legal and behaved like total monkeys after two beers (Becks), looks like a rundown "alternative" location but when it comes down to drinks and costs it's Munich standard posh prices, staff is quite aggresive somehow and when the runner (might be a hard job, but you shouldn't try to hurt people...) slammed a crate into my back that hard I could call myself lucky I wasn't pissing blood after, I somehow decided to leave the establishment... maybe the regulars are better though?
Posted by: "HelterSkelter" at 5:32 pm on 24.Apr.2006We were just in Munich for a couple of days this placed seemed pretty ok. Nothing super about it... but I've known Muchich to be the hot spot anyway. People were seemingly pretty diverse, maybe a tad young (i'm 28). No problems getting in, no problems at the door. The only problem for two self-styled international macks/pimps like us were that the girls were a little on the homely side. We both still saw some action, but Germany is certainly not Spain!
