Elia is a Greek restaurant that opened in early 2007. I went for a meal but I was not impressed at all. The place looks nice, it is acually very modern but the food was disappointing and not so cheap. But thanks to its strategic location it is often full. I don't recommend it!

I have been to Elia several times with my wife (who is Greek). The food is excellent - the best Greek food we have found outside of Greece. It is a bit pricy, but definitely worth it. Decor is also good, so nice to find a Greek restaurant without the usual appalling kitsch!

Tried this one again and was dissapointed. The service was very slow and the food was far from being impressive. I mean it was ok but I expected much more from this place! I had the Dorade which was too dry, my friend had chicken liver with a balsamico dressing which was also ok. The Ouzo at the end of the dinner was nice. Everybody who knows me will know that I am a big fan of the Cennet just around the corner of Elia and yes the food in the Cennet is as good if not better and sometimes cheaper than Elia. I am not Greek apart from my real name but fish cannot be served dry!!

I agree that the food here is disappointing. Went there a few months back and will not go there again. My husband is Greek so we know what the food should be like and it leaves a lot to be deisred. And it IS overpriced.
