El Patio Latino Bar and Bistro. I highly recommend "El Patio" Latino Bar Bistro for people who like the experience of Latin and Mexican Food. Here you can find Authentic Mexican food and Drinks. I was there last weekend, pretty nice atmosphere, people pretty friendly, good food, exotic drinks. You can make reservations for a big group or just step in! I had so much fun! 5pm to 2am HerzogStrasse 88. 80796 Munich (U2 Hohenzollernplatz) Tel 089 32388586

I always go there to watch spanish league and champions league, and the atmosphere and food is great. Recommended for Latin/Spanish who is looking for a party like at home!

"El Patio" has the best margaritas in town , people is very friendly , Spanish is a "must" but not necesary, the food is fresh made and the variety of tequilas is amazing (corralejo, Don julio and jimador are on top of the list) make me feel like i was in mexico , but dont forget to make a reservation is very small and sometimes very full!

How is Spanish a 'must' but not necessary?

I just came back from having dinner there.. I was there last week aswell and today after I had payed for my food, the owner comes to me and with a very rude way tells me that I didn't pay for a hot chocolate last time I was there.. I am a 100% sure I mentioned it when they asked me what I had eaten, but what could have happened is that the waiter didn't charge it. I don't blame him, it's a mistake that can happen to anyone. What really bothered me though was the way I was told about it. Even if I had forgotten to pay, there are ways to say things. She could have just asked me to pay for the stupid 2euro drink instead of making me feel like a thief. Really, she was rude and then when I said I didn't have the need to steal a hot chocolate (specially after I already payed 20 euros and tiped 3 for other dishes and drinks) she just said to me that it wasn't her problem and that I should talk to the waiter who had to pay for it. I am the only one who thinks that it is stupid to lose a regular client over a 2euro drink? Just wanted to let people know.. the food is certantly really good, but make sure they charge you right next time you go there and don't go if you are not having a good day.. the owner's (Verena) big bitter face is not very pleasant to look at while you are digesting food.. thanks for taking the time to read!

Had a great chicken enchilada mole there last week. Plus very nice starters of nachos and fried scrummy things!

Good food, drinks and service. Not too expensive. Also some mexicans friends of mine say it is good and go there often. Just felt not so good afterwards but it was my fault: had 2 coronas with salt, worcester sauce and tabasco...they attack straight to the stomach :)

ja ja ,Corona with salt and tabasco is call "michelada" great drink for a hang-over ,and something every "mexican restaurant"? in munich should have on the menu ... (togheter with alka-seltzer) . great place to visit

I don't know what has happened to this place in the last year, but the food has certainly been going downhill. The last 2 times I ate there, I had less than average food. It was so bland and soggy. The chicken nachos (cant remember exact name) had so little chicken on them, I am not sure how they could call them that. I found the food hardly worth even eating, let alone having to pay for. I will not be visiting again, which is a shame as it is so close and I really liked the place.
