Edmoses Bar - Munich

Heaving, quite a few self-loved but also quite a few pub trainer wearers. Crowd older than the current ad campaign for Young Magazine would suggest. Unfortunately, said ad campaign means that some out-of-towners-out-of-cluers go as well. Standing area gets extremely crowded. No pints, Tegernseer Hell in 0,3. Long drinks 7€, caipi 8€. Music is loud, dancy, went over to old school Acid House late on the Friday (Baby D, Sesame's Treet, Orbital...) which made me happy, DJs are always listed on the website. Seating blocks have table service. Entrance is at back via patio, front entrance can be used only if opened from inside so if you sit near there you get asked to open it all the time, which can be tiresome. Only one stall in ladies', all loos have entrance concealed in wall, can be confusing if too many drinks consumed, ditto the couple of stairs down from entrance which are hard to see in crowd and caused a few heels to be broken. Glass on 3 sides, reminds me of the bar Paul's Boutique in Stuttgart. Not as relaxed as say Netzer/Overath but not as bad or as schicki as you'd think. edmoses all small-case it appears, like the corporate branding for adidas, a nice touch.

Great bar, even if it does take ages to find the toilet first time there! Also, english DJs play regularly there regularly . . . . :-)

nice friendly somewhat mixed but mostly fun crowd and usually great music... the bartenders are a bit high on themselves as is usual in this city... sigh... one of the best bars in munich... if you go early... late night can be an absolute crush

always too many guys there...not the right place to find girls!
