Diyar - Munich

This place is one of my favorite Turkish restaurants. Having lived in Turkey for 2 years, I can confirm the food is quite good. My wife, Turkish, enjoys the place quite a bit as well. The staff are prompt and polite. My favorite dishes include the Adana Kebap, Kavurama, and Diyar Borek. They also have a good selection of Turkish wines ( in case you didn't know there are some quite nice Turkish Red wines). On Friday & Saturday nights they have a belly dancer, but it is still very tasteful.

Diyar describes itself very aptly as a "taverna", and this is just what it is: lively and welcoming to families. The service was quick and the food delicious; light and fresh. At around €20 per head, the price was very reasonable too. I'd recommend Diyar.
