Registratur a location for small alternative movie screenings, literary discussion panels, and other such cultural events. Regular party goers will know that at weekends Die Registratur is also a nightclub playing electronic music. Also, one half of the creators and managers of this venue is American. David B. In case you're wondering what Die Registratur's logo is all about, the random dots are supposed to represent the tape code that was used in the very first computing machines. Die Registratur, as it's name suggests, was previously a registration office. In the early 50's they used these primative mechanical computers to crunch their data.

Finally got to check this place out on Friday. Decent unpretentious club catering mainly to a early 20s crowd. Should be no problem getting in if you come early. It got packed, and they could have stopped letting people in. They always seem to be having different parties and live acts, so check the website to see what is going on.

Give it a go, but most of the time, I pop around to the funky kitchen when I get bored, maybe you'll do the same

Music is ok 15% of the time. You need to love monotonic Electronic Beats, cos thats all you get (Saturday). When the DJ plays a fill they all cheer as if he's done a backflip. One of the few discos I know with a queue for the mens' seated bog that stretches out of the toilet area itself.... work it out. Prefered the (now closed) funky kitchen. Dress code: T-Shirt, jeans, cig.

I´ve been there, they reopened some time ago. One cool thing is Zombo Combo, a non-techno non-house Discotheque with a motto each time. Now on each last friday of the month. Average Age is 25, entry fee is 7 Euro. Starts 11pm, best is to arrive a little bit later.
