Fantastic food and atmostphere, while other places around Rosenheimerplatz were empty, this place had a lively young atmosphere about it. house red (a merlot) was very drinkable, food was prompt and excellent. Its not a cheap place(when you start ordering meat dishes) but certainly a good place for value on the pizza and pasta. Poots

great pizza and always fresh seasonal ingredients. Pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage almost as good as Jane's! the cute italian waiters make it even better.

The basics are of solid quality, but the more demanding dishes are sometimes inconsistent. But the main reason to go here is that it's lively and fun.

very good (and quite light) pizza and lively atmosphere. typical-italian "direct-to-rude" service, but that´s the way it is.

Great place, food is good and ok prices. Pizzas are always excellent and the service is cheery and flirtatiously 'italian'. Great place for dining with friends.

had lunch there today at noon. I was the only customer. The service was bad; they managed to let me feel that i was not welcome to stay there. Gave bad tip and now very unlikely to return.

Today I realized that the Dal Cavaliere became a top-class Restaurant for the rich retired people of the neighbourhood. We were obviously the only non-regular customers in the garden at lunchtime, and all other businessmen in suits did have their lunch at the inexpensive Bella Italia garden at the other side of the street. Sitting outside is very fine specially between may and september, because the Dal Cavalieri is in a passage without traffic. We choose one entry-level pizza and one entry-level pasta from the very expensive Menu. And Espresso for me as a dessert. Overall view was that everything did have good and bad points, so basically average food. But the aura is very fine and the inside decoration is also very nice.
