Cube - I have been to this restaurant twice eduring lunch as they do a 3 course meal for 4.90 Euro. First i thought wow that's cheap for lehel, obviously the protion of this 3 course lunch menu are not huge but they are delicious and very nice presented. I still think this lunch menu is worth the money. The athmosphere in the restaurant is nice clean and teh staff is very friendly. It's just a bit empty in there when i was in but to be honest i prefer that as food comes quicker if it is not overly busy.
Recently i've also been there in the evening to see if the lunch teaser promises what a real menu is like. I had a nice soup and a rump steak. The soup was delicious, the rump steak as well. we've also got a little spoon/soup starter from the kitchen and a little sorbert between the soup and main course. At the end we've also decided to have a desert. I had a very nice espresso mouse. My mate got off with a 3 variations of choclate, once of them had a thin gold waver on top (blattgold - dont know what it's called in english). Looked posh and also tasted well.
All in all for a nice bottle of wine, water two 3 course meal and a 2 course meal with coffess we paid 140Euros. I think it was worth the money.
The staff is also very friendlyin there. They also do special gay evenings and currently promote some aids campane.
All in all i think it's a nice place to visit

I went to the Cube with my girlfriend for her Birthday treat. It was wednesday evening. We were the ONLY people in there, including the loung downstairs. Why is it that when a restraunt is empty...the service is bad? The staff dissapeared somewhere and popped their heads in every 30 to 40 mins or so. Having said which... THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING. So draw your own conclusions - at least it was not smokey. Total bill for three courses plus wine (30 euros) was 100 Euros. P.S. I have never seen a bottle of fizzy water on menu at 68 Euros!! I wonder how it tastes?
Posted by: Alginon at 11:10 am on 29.Oct.2007This place is CRAP. Pompous rubbish. The food combinations do not work and the service is annoying. You could have four good meals at a decent restaurant for the price of one average one at this place. Awful.
