Cubar is a Cuban cellar bar which opened early September 2004. And very cool it is too! There are lots of separate little areas, including one section featuring comfy sofas around a fireplace - very homely. They play a mixture of music and at weekends they have a live DJ in.
The bar is open Wednesday through Sunday. Some nights it can be quiet, but if you catch it on a good night it can be very good! Unfortunately it's hard to predict when the popular nights will be.
Definitely recommended though!
