Croissant Show - Adalbertstr. 8, 80799 Munich, Germany
This is a great new cafe/bistro opened on Adalbertstrasse just beside the University. The owner is French and sells wownderful french bakery products (the pain aux olives, mmmm) and cakes as well as a selection of wines. You can eat lunch too or an early light dinner. We also saw a special advertised with Spanish snacks after 5 I think. Nice atmosphere and there is also a gallery at the back. Recommended!

There's one of these down by Kapuzinerstrasse. What a joke. Sorry, but whoever is responsible for the food in there, especially the 'croissants', has never been to France...

Posted by: "Lisa" at 11:54 am on 28.Sep.2005I was just there this afternoon (on Kapuzinerstrasse)and had a wonderful tomato and mozzerella sandwich. No complaints here.

Posted by: "daniel" at 6:43 pm on 22.Oct.2005One on Adalbertstrasse is fantastic - haven't seen the other one. Definitely French, and at 2E for a coffee & croissant, you can't go wrong. Coffee is the best I've had in Munich - not a big croissant fan, but my French friends say they're great!
Posted by: "Noirin" at 10:43 pm on 22.Oct.2005dear, he's french! et je peux t'affirmer qu'il est bien du terroire! i'm french too and i know him ! He's great like his foods!
Posted by: "nonymous" at 3:27 pm on 23.Jan.2006Gotta agree, the food is French. Nice place, especially today with the windows open letting in the spring air. Several good-looking choices for lunch under 5 euro. I had a croissant & coffee which were both great.

Posted by: "Anonymous" at 10:43 am on 13.May.2006The croissants at least are really from France, I know this for a fact, had too many of them;-)) And the personnel in the UNI-location are french too; but what the hack, as long as the atmosphere and the food is good.
