Sick of drinking alcohol? Or simply in need of a caffeine fix? Fellows can help. Good coffee, although the range of styles available makes choosing a single cup pretty confusing.

Inside you have pretty people, the quiet hubbub of conversation, high tables, tall bar stools, and a usually relaxing - but full - place. They also do a puzzlingly-large range of bagels with numerous fillings.
Sitting at the windows you can watch the night pass you by, or the Scientologists attempting to entice people into their local recruiting centre. Its a European version of Starbucks, but that didnt occur to me until someone pointed it out (thanks Frank), which tells you how well its done.

Coffee Fellows
There are several branches in Munich. Here are the few we know about (more can be posted in the comments field at the bottom of this page)
Coffee Fellows in the Schuetzenstr. between Stachus and the main train station has a spacious, clean and light internet cafe on the second floor. I think it's the best internet cafe in Munich: good clientel; helpful, friendly personnel; excellent hardware. Food and drinks are brought up for the customers from the cafe on the ground floor.

They also have a non smoking section on the ground floor of their coffee shop. Sure, you have to walk in and go through the smoking section, but you can't have everything in life.
Posted by: "Elfenstar" at 9:54 am on 6.Jun.2005Only been to the one on Leopoldstrasse. Crap bagels at outrageous prices (plain bagel with cream cheese around 3.50) Unfriendly service Very smoky OK coffee but would rather go somewhere else..
