Price-Performer Pizza To Go For take-out pizza in West Schwabing/Maxvorstadt try the Italian restaurant Cinecitta, Theresienstrasse 144 -- between the Technical Uni and Schleissheimer Strasse. To-go pizza is only EUR 3.90 for any pizza on the menu, including those that cost twice as much if you sit down and consume them inside. I see frozen pizza in my local market for EUR 2.69, so this is a deal. They're a good dinner for one if you are not a lineman for the 49ers. Two light diners could split one. I like the Pizza Cinecitta, which combines several meats and veggies. I've also had the Pizza Mare (with shellfish), which I'd order again. I had one yesterday and today when I went to toss the box in the recycle bin I noticed three of the same boxes: somebody else in the building is also partaking regularly. Inside it's compact, with a cinema theme -- pix of film and theater people on the walls. There are tablecloths and candles, but it's not expensive by Munich standards.
