Catwalk - Munich

Since opening in 2000 Catwalk continues to be a very popular restaurant and bar located on the corner of Mauerkircherstrasse and Montgelasstrasse (Tram/Bus stop Mauerkircherstrasse). A very relaxed and yet trendy place. Beautiful locals with kids in tow mixed with professionals from the neighborhood can be found inside and outside in the sunny sidewalk service area. It serves very reasonably priced food everyday with breakfast and coffe beginning at 9am and closing at 1am. Parking is rather easy within a few block radius. Saturday evening is all you can eat pasta (a few different kinds) for €8.50 and happy hour is from 1700 - 2000 and 2300 - 0100 daily.

Popped in there today, can't believe it's only 10 mins walk from where I live and I haven't found it in 3 years ! What a lovely wee place, cool clientele, good service and an interesting menu. Only had wine today :-) but will go back for food ... A good find !!

I know I am the only one to post on this restaurant so far, and no I don't work for them :-)), but just wanted to add more comments on my original posting. Went for dinner there last night and the chicken in Erdnuss-sauce has to be one of the nicest dishes I have had in Munich ... Huge chunks of really nice chicken in a sauce that was just excellent, perfect satay ! Nice bottle of wine, sat outside in the sun and chatted until after 10pm. Service was great ... All in all a really nice, relaxed evening.

I agree with NJDQ, Catwalk is a great neighborhood restaurant. My husband and I go there often, and we're always happy with the food, service and atmosphere. I haven't posted about it yet because I selfishly didn't want everyone to start going there, but I guess the "Cat's" out of the bag now!
