I'd just like to add that I, Bob, took the above photo with the cheapest of digital cameras. It came out rather good, ja?
Went out for dinner here this weekend. They had a Rodizio, which is 6-course meal. You get six different types of meat (turkey wrapped in bacon, grilled chicken, roast pork, chorzio, roast lamb, roast beef) which is brought to your table one course at a time througout the evening. It comes on a big skewer which the waiter then cuts off as much or as little as you like. Along with this, there is a buffet with salads, nachos, salsa, guacamole, baked potatoes, cold roast beef and lots more. This is also followed by 2 dessert courses of grilled banana and then flambeed pineapple (flambeed at your table, quite exciting). For this all-you-can eat extravaganza it normally costs 19.50, but until the end of February it's only 14.50. The quality of the food is high, with nice things like ruccola and feldsalat in the salad bar and fresh guacamole. The service was friendly and attentive, even though the place was packed. The waiter laughed along with us as we tried to decided between having Sex on the Beach or a Latin Lover. Cocktails are 4.90 during happy hour, which is 6-8pm and again from 10:30 on. Make sure to make a reservation, because as I said, the place was packed. It's probaly also best to go with a group, as it's a long evening. We arrived at 7pm and left just before midnight. Good food, strong cocktails, good service. I ask no more from any restaurant.
Posted by: "showem" at 12:07 pm on 9.Feb.2004I've been several times... first time great all round. However the second time we had a terrible waiter(s). We were a group of 30 and the service was incredibly BAD! Over an hour's wait for a cocktail! Forgotten and incorrect orders and when it came to the flambeed Pineapple, two of our group ended up with their clothes on fire... and all of this without an apology. However the food itself was good. The crowning glory came when we wanted to pay the bill... in typical German fashion, seperately. We asked to pay the bill at 23:20 and we finally had it all sorted at 01:20! All I can say is good luck!

Posted by: "Anon" at 2:19 pm on 25.Feb.2004I though about having a rodizio. Then I asked were is the "picanha", the most famous brasilian meat and a must for any rodizio. Well, they didn't know what it is. Also, no chicken heart and no "maminha". The food could be good, but give me a break, don't call this mixed meat grill "the original brasilan rodizio".
Posted by: "Jorge" at 2:13 pm on 10.Jun.2004Went here on a friday a few weeks back, food was fantastic, a couple of people tried the rodizio which just looked divine! Steaks were good too. Good value for money! Cocktails were the lick at 4,90 in the happy hour :-) By the way there is a Cantina Mexicana on the Leopoldstr. too. They offer Rodizio too and I think these two restaurants are somehow linked as I saw posters for la villa there.
Posted by: "JDinMunich" at 2:32 pm on 29.May.2006The steak there is the BEST!!! Soft succulent... and everybody wanted some of mine. Only problem with this place is the walk through the park. High heels not recommended girls. ;-)
