Cafe Nil - Munich

Located on Hans-Sachs Strasse in the heart of the gay district, I have to admit that Cafe Nil is my personal favorite among bars on the gay scene. The staff is very friendly and most of them speak pretty good english as well. They are open every day of the week from 3 in the afternoon until 3 in the morning. On any given night you will find a good cross section of the gay community. People of all ages ranging from teenyboppers to retirees. The food menu though not extensive is very well prepared and in good portions and they have without a doubt the best schnitzel in town! Unlike some other bars on the gay scene you will find considerably less "attitude" there because the staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcome including heteros :-) which makes for a much more relaxing atmosphere condusive to meeting new people. During the week it is a great place for a quiet drink and chat but on Friday and Saturday nights it usually gets jam packed starting around 9 p.m.! Chances are that you will see me there as this is my fave spot. Just look for the cute black american dude with a shaved head :-) So check it out and enjoy!
