Good vegetarian food in West Schwabing. Service can be a bit slow; but the food is quality. Portions are quite generous, and cheap. A single dish could serve 2 people comfortably, and cost ~6 to ~12 euro zusammen. Non-smoking, small place, with a basic, yet homely atmosphere. They make excellent desserts and have a counter for takeaway pastries.

I found the food here kind of dull. The stuff on the menu sounds good and unique, but I was always disappointed and found the taste to be kind of bland, and the pastries to be kind of dry. The drinks are expensive, I think.

The Tagesmenu is a great deal. Big salad/soup, big tasty main course and cake for about 8 euros. I had astoundingly good home-made gnocchi. Service was friendly.

Murray is right, the Menu is a deal. Many of the main dish items come with a dessert of your choice, so this is one of the best bargain restaurants in the city. There's a weekday lunch buffet for EUR 5.50 as well. I like the taste of all of the items I've tried, in several visits in the last couple weeks. Drinks are no more expensive than anywhere else, I find, and there are lots of fruit drinks.

We ate there last week and were very disappointed- very bland food.

This was my favorite restaurant during my stay in Munich last summer. Great food and great selection with large portions (the one dish for two is probably right... even with salads and desserts), no complaints about service.. It's very unique with the offerings. I look forward to eating there on a return visit to Munich this summer.

I've been eating at this place somewhat regularly since June as my girlfriend is vegetarian and we both love it...the food is great and there's quite a few creative dishes in their extensive menu (it really is extensive, and a separate section for vegans). I agree that the service is sometimes slow in the afternoons but what makes up for it is Happy hour between 3-6pm. It's great, as you get a main meal AND a piece of cake (which are lovely, especially their Nuss-Nougat cake) for EUR 6!! Great value, and wonderfully big portions. I'm normally not too impressed with vegetarian restaurants, but this place gets a big thumbs up in my books! Bring your appetite!

They seem to have done away with all the German speaking staff, and they don't offer what they claim to for their buffets (e.g. no soup). Heavy on the ginger. Still good value compared to other places in Munich. Somewhat cramped.
