Café Hüller - Eduard-Schmid-Str. 8, 81541 Munich, Germany

Eduard-Schmid-str. 8
U Fraunhoferstr, then cross to the other side of the Isar

Andi Hüller, who has worked for quite some time in Cafe Rothmund (Rothmundstr.5 near Sendlinger Tor) has opened his own café this summer and found a nice location 'off the beaten track' in Au just by the Isar. If you like pancakes (freestyle)or a nice Schweinebraten on Sundays, this is the place for you. Gets quite crowded in the evenings, I hear, but in the daytime you'll always find a free table. DJing and art events now and again, too. No website yet so info about those only via e-mail or IN München magazine.

met up with some chums here for lunch today. it's only a small place and it filled up quick. the menu is small but adequate as they have a daily menu chalked on the board too. the girls had pancakes and I had the homemade mushroom tortellini for 5,80€ was great value. the service was very attentive. definitely going back some time soon.
