Went here for dinner last night, and expectations were very high as it has one Michelin Star. Being a French place the portions were typically quite small, so you'll want two starters, a main, and then dessert. I opted for some quail which really was excellent, as was the consomme. The steak I had for my main was also excellent - a very tender and flavoursome cut. The wine list was also very comprehensive, if a little scarily priced (I wasn't paying luckily). All in all it was excellent food, though I'm not quite sure if it was up to Michelin Star quality. The service, for Germany, was good, but in my view nowhere near what I would expect of a Michelin star - 5 people ate, and only 2 of us really drank, and the bill was still over €500. If you all wanted to drink, you should expect a minimum of say €120 - €140 a head. Definitely Michelin Star prices. If you want good French food however, and a special location (it's a very quaint little place), Bistro Terrine does come recommended.

There's another nice French place in Schwabing - Le Gaulois. Not as pricey, but food's very nice.

I went here on saturday night with a group of friends. The food was absolutely sensational. I had one of the best steaks i've ever eaten anywhere. For a Michelin star resturant, I didn't think it was particularly pricey. Granted there were some scary prices on the wine list, but they also had a good selection of reasonably prices wines. The place itself is just devine, very french and a great location.

This place does not currently have a Michelin star, but apparently did from 1999-2004. Their website still mentions it, just not when they lost it: "1999 erhielt er (der Chef) die hohen Weihen des ersten Guide Michelin Sterns".

Food here is really good, though at Micheling price levels. But chef needs to step away from the iSi canister. Every single dish came with a foam sauce. Tasty though, and the place looks very spiffy.

Don't go here if you are feeling hungry, because the portions are tiny. In fact they are so small that it seems like a bad joke, although some would describe it as Haute Cuisine. The wine list is ridiculously long and expensive. We just had glasses of wine, but they serve it in 0,1 quantities for more than the normal price for 0,25 (and they don't specify the quantity on the menu). The waitress was friendly. We payed Euro 180 for two, which left me feeling that we had been ripped off.

If you like good food and making a night of it then this is a great restaurant. We have been here several times and highly recommend it. However it is not cheap - a dining experience with wine will cost around Euro 120 per person. Also i am glad to hear that they have being awarded again a Michelin star.

This is a superb French bistro according to our last night. The food, service and ambiance was excellent. If you have the money and time, this is the place to have your French.
