Cheap and tasy food, but the service sometimes leaves a lot to be desired.

There is another "Bella Italia" on sonny street which is also ok if you want a quick nose bag... although the spicy sauce with the mussels is better at rosie platz to be fair.

There are a few Bella Italias in Munich, since it's a chain, kinda like the American Pizza Hut, but with much better prices and atmosphere. I like the terrace here during summer time.

Hello...I lived in Munich many, many years ago and I used to get off at Rosenheimerplatz because I lived a block away. I used to love the pizza there and I am glad that It is still there. When I lived in Munich I sang in a lot of clubs that are long gone...Drehleier, MUH Club, Song Parnass , Robinson Club, Unterfahrt and numerous others. I miss Munchen lots. Tschuss

I used to like this place until I sat outside in there garden (terrace) and noticed a big juicy rat running around in the flower beds. It most probably came up from the s-bahn entrance which is located just to one side of the outside seating area. Probably not much to worry about but I cant seem to bring myself to return there..... I hope there cellars are clean!

It's a chain; they've got no heart. Go to the competition across the way.

Wow...what a re-opening. Afte long renovation, comes a new looking restaraunt with the most "economical" food in Munich. Not cheap because that would decry what it is all about. Plain Simple pasta and Pizza dishes, with a wonderful fish platter that doesn't even get into the Euro "teens". Don't expect miracles with service, it seems to disappear after the first round of drinks, main course and dessert (plus possibly coffee) but if you just want to sit and occupy a seat the waiters tend to ignore you for that "one more for the road" Enjoy good food sitting down at a good price

yea i mean the food is great value, tastes quite good 2. pity about the slime balls that serve the food, typical italians. every bird that walks into th place is stripped naked by those muppets with their lustful glare.... sorry, but dont let that put u off...just givem a look back...

we went here late last night, the service was impeccable and the food was lovely, and really great value. we spilt our wine and they gave us a free replacement! looks a lot better after the refurbishment. and these days it's not as smoky as it used to be!

We went to the Bella Italia near Sendlinger Tor last night. The service was really... Italian, as the guys were running around shouting at each other in Italian. Also, the sign said the kitchen was open until 24:00, but then the waitstaff more or less threw out everyone at that time, however not in an abrasive way. My friends and I were all happy (Students + Low Prices + Food was quite tasty = Happy)

I have been a regular visitor to Munich over the past few years and Bella Italia had been one of my favourite restaurants. My partner and I visited the restaurant at Rosenheimer Platz for lunch recently. The food, as usual, was great. However, the service was terrible and we are very disappointed by the action of one of the waiters. I paid for the meal with my American Express card. I had no loose change to tip the waiter so I included the tip on my card. The waiter did not like this. He printed the receipt and threw it at me saying “ no good to me”. I assume he meant he wouldn't get the tip. The next day, I realised that my American Express card was missing. I immediately rang the restaurant. The waiter said that he had my card. I said that I would come and collect it. However, he said that he was taking it home and would not be back for three days. I had to cancel the card. To do this I had to call Australia on my mobile phone and the cost of the call was $67. I also had considerable inconvenience and had to stop payment of utility bills from the card. I was unable to get a replacement card until my return to Australia and so was without my American Express card for 4 weeks. When we returned to the restaurant to collect the card they took a bunch of about 12 credit cards from the till. We obviously werent' the first to experience this type of treatment. A written complaint to the restaurant has gone unanswered. This was a terrible experience for us and ruined our stay in Munich. If you go to this restaurant, beware.
