Very good ribs with variety of sauce options and perfect angus from south america delivers what its name promises. Lowenbreu, Franziskaner or Bud- this is the right place. Texas style and very friendly service. We highly recommend it!

recently went, very begrudgingly, to this restaurant, after reading the mediocre reviews. Therefore I was pleasantly surprized at the quality of the ribs. The place is filled with Americans (If you like that sort of thing), and the atmosphere is bright and loud,not a romantic place. The staff could not have been nicer. The "entertainment" consists of one of the owners on keyboard with good Elvis covers. As for the food, stick with the pork ribs and burgers. Don't expect spicy, because they are not, but they are tasty and a lot of them. Don't order the nachos, as they are doritos with canned sides, nothing like U.S. style. Their pina Coladas were tasty and not light on the rum. I would certainly go back if I needed a rib fix.

I wanted to go here last Sunday night. After searching 30 minutes for Paradiesstrasse, which by the way is NOT right near the U-Bahnhof Lehel but instead 2 stops further with the TRAM, I found the Barbecue Rib House. Unfortunatly to my dismay, I found a dark restaurant... they are not open at all on Sunday!

It´s a Texas style Rib House with good food and a very friendly service. It´s not a romantic place for lovers - just to eat, talk and hang out after work. Because of the interior I guess the owners love america. Heard pretty good live music! I recommend and will be back soon.

I have eaten here before and thought that it was average. But I have returned and rate this place quite high. The interior does not take itself seriously and actually will brighten the mood of anyone eating here. The food is good and well portioned. It is not for the casual tourist, but for someone who misses home, it can make you feel as if you took a quick journey back.

I was surprised! The Ribs are delicious.... It´s a great place to relax and simply enjoy a great meal. Believe it or not - Kathy Bates was there!

Just like to recommend a hidden jewel and a favorite of mine - the Barbecue Ribhouse located on Paradiesstreet near the english garden/Lehel. This place is just fantastic! The ribs are delicious and I´m glad I wore my stretchy pants! They serve Blockhouse south american Steaks and I wonder if they belong to Blockhouse. Awesome service and great music!

Restaurant is closed. See comments from the website: Since that 14. March 2007 closed the Barbecue Rib House. The Betreiberin decided after careful consideration to it. Due to stupid rumors that the Rib House “failure “was, we would like to finally deliver here a statement for our always faithful guests and visitors. During the signing of the agreement before 3 years both contracting parties agreed that the lease ends in September 2007. In February 2006 there was a country wide beer price increase. Then it gave a further beer price increase to the company Franziskaner to July 2006. Then price increases of the companies Wolfra, Petrusquelle and Pepsi followed still in time before the planned value added tax increase. to 1.1.2007. To January 2007 all alcoholic beverages were increased and a further beer price increase follow again to 1 May 2007! In our case there was besides still another lease increase of the home-owner in substantial extent. This had finally as a consequence that we agreed with the brewery to dissolve in September the ending lease already prematurely to May. All differently reading statements, rumors and consciously spread lies are absolutely wrong and by stupid humans are strewn. The Barbecue Rib House thanks you all guests for their loyalty quite cordially in all the years!!!!
