Ayurveda is an Indian restaurant that does justice to Indian food. Coming from England I have tried many good indian restaurants and I have to admit this comes on top and the service is fantastic. So all those who are Indian food lovers try this place, I am sure you'll agree!

The word "Ayurveda" is a tatpurusha compound of āyus "life" and veda "knowledge", and would roughly translate as the "Science of Life". Most people here have abused the meaning and the correct practice of it.

Fab no. 3rd best Indian restaurant in Munich. had a King Prawn jalfrezi, the prawns were lovely and tender -not overcooked to resemble rubber as is normally the case. Very new so help them out and go there.

Four of us went there last night, and we thought the food was very ordinary. Not bad, not good, just ordinary, and not especially spicy. It was also fairly empty, and I think they'll need to do better in the location they're in - there's not much passing trade.

Went there after the Oktoberfest, so turned up inebriated and hungry for curry at almost 23:00. At first they claimed the kitchen was closed, but on observing what curry connoisseurs we were, they agreed to serve us. We’re a demanding gang and were well impressed. Nice and spicy, will definitely go again

Been wanting to try this restaurant out for a long time and finally went there on Saturday night. Not a connoisseur of Indian food but I thought it was very tasty. Best naan bread I've had in any Indian. Service was good (ok not many customers) and the staff friendly. Shame that the location of the restaurant doesn't attract more customers....time to have a TT curry night there and see how they perform with a large group.

Why do we always have to go to an Indian restaurant? They all taste the same, are expensive for what they are, (often just boiled potatoes), are indoors, overheated, sitting elbow to elbow so you can't meet many people.... there are so many restauants in Munich, Greek, Italian, Mexican, Arab, friendly pub-grub outside at Killians ...

is someone forcing you to go to Indian restaurants or something??
