Antica Trattoria - Munich

Is this restaurant also in Harlaching? I went to an Italian place on the Hochleite (near the Menterschwaige Biergarten) for my birthday last week. Clearly, picking that place on my birthday meant that I wanted a memorable experience. Well, memorable it was, but in a very bad way! As soon as we got there, a rude guy came up to us and asked us in a gruff voice what we wanted. He also told us he did not want us sitting outside because he would be in trouble should it start to rain (this was the night of the big storm). Well, talk about a nice welcome! NOT! Anyway, we decided to ignore that and just order. I got my food in a timely fashion, but my friend did not and he even got the wrong dish. He was ready to eat it anyway, but I told him he should complain. Just as he was ready to do this, someone else came over and barked at us, "You didn't order that!" and whisked it a way. Just about halfway through my food, it started to pour, so everyone outside went running inside. Naturally, they kept giving everyone the evil eye for running and I was not happy to continue eating alone with no sign of my friend's food. About 10-15 minutes after I was done with all food and drink (and after I had inquired where his food was!), the food arrived -- cold! As soon as he put his fork down, someone else came over and said, "You want to pay?" and handed us the bill! Jesus! If you like being insulted and getting mediocre food in a place that is supposed to be ritzy, then by all means, go there. Otherwise, never, ever patronize this place.
