Definitely the best Pizza I have had in Munich. Prices are very reasonable and the Pizzas are HUGE.

Best pizza. Worst Service. Absolutely ridiculous. Get take out. Do not go and eat at the restaurant.

Starter average, Piza OK, cheap wine dreadful (compared to cheap wine from other Munich Italian restaurants), service - we didn't get any... prices reasonable. I couldn't recommend this place even for take out.

Just go there for the best and largest pizzas in town. They taste great, thin, crispy. **Book in advance** and hope to get some nice seating. You can take-away too. They have (or at least used to have) a parking lot across the street.

it can't be the largest pizza? The biggest you get are at peaches - a whopping 50cm BIG and you can even ask for half and half (split the toppings)

Those at l'angolo are *51 cm* BIG and taste italian, you see? ;)

Although they certainly don't have friendly service personnel, this is definitely the best pizza I've had in my life. L'Angolo also has the "official" credentials to boast: they've won the award as southern Germany's "top pizza" in multiple years.

Truly outstanding pizzas. The best I have had anywhere. Very friendly staff, great service, and a very cute little spiky haired barmaid too. What more can you ask for?

Atrocious service. Cold pizzas with barely-there topping. "Southern Germany's best pizza house"? How sad.

My boyfriend and I went there on Valentine's day and I must say this is one of my favorite restaurants in Munich. Pizza are great, the prices are very reasonnable, the service although a bit cold at first now is really friendly and helpful! We decided to have some wine and because we couldnt chose which one we wanted, they served us a sample of 2 and we could decide which one we liked best. I think that is quite friendly service when all you're eating is a pizza!! Reservation highly recommended!

Absolutely one of the best pizzas in Munich. Dough is rich in flavor and chewy, baked exactly right. T-Sauce is good and the pizzas are pretty big. I have issues with some of the toppings (e.g. Gorgonzola put on the pizza too early), but if you avoid them and pick the right ones (Parma ham and Parmigiano with rocula, mmm...), you're in for a treat. To sum up, one of the few Italians that made it over the Alps without forgetting how to cook. Reserve places, this place was packed every time I was there!

L'angolo della pizza makes quite good pizzas and, yes, it is true, they are quite big, which also contributes to make this place one of my favourites, since the standard "Münchner-size" pizza leaves me hungry. Non-italians might find the pizza relatively "poor" when it comes to toppings, because it is made in the italian way, this is not an american pizza with 1-inch of cheese on top and not less than 6-7 toppings. I don't know if I would define it the "best pizza in Munich", since even in Italy there are different way to make pizza according to the region (i.e. big, small, thick, crusty, soft etc) but definitely here you can have a quite good Italian pizza. Can't comment on the service since I am Italian, which of course improves the interaction with the personnel there.

Went here for the first time tonight...I didn't realize it had a reputation...Wednesdays are Pasta Tage, so got a really nice pasta dish with shrimps for just EUR 6.50! A friend of mine ordered their famous pizza..and wow, I was really impressed...it wasn't oily at all, and the base was the best thing I've ever eaten! All in all, great good...will be going back there again for sure...but yeah, as the others have said..book ahead!

Our TT American Stammtisch went here last night. The pizza was excellent—ingredients were particularly fresh, even on a Sunday evening. By (poor) Bavarian standards, the service was average. For example, by the end of the night the pattern of one lady taking all drink orders and then (always) someone else bringing the drink but having no idea who in our group had ordered it became somewhat comical. Overall highly recommended. Perhaps better for groups not larger than 15.

I am surprised by all the positive comments... We went almost weekly to this place for take out as we live around the corner. However, often pizzas came black (at the bottom) out of the oven, which was realy dissapointing coming home. Don't start about the cranky service.. We prefer Cigno, a few block down the road

you all have no idea about real pizza....

Finally some comments that match my taste. I also find the pizza at Angolo horrible. Has anybody ever tried La Baia. That's good pizza ...
